Exchange & Store Policy

At Milano Hardware and Interiors, we want you to be confident in your purchase. While we do not offer refunds, we are happy to offer exchanges or store credit under the policy below. 

Eligibility for Exchange or Store Credit 

You may request an exchange or store credit if: 

  • Your request is made within 14 days of delivery or pickup 
  • The item is unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition 
  • You have proof of purchase (receipt or order number) 

Items Not Eligible 

  • Custom or special-order items 
  • Clearance or final sale items 
  • Items that have been installed, used, or damaged after purchase 

How to Start an Exchange 

  1. Email ​returns@milano.ca with your order number and reason for exchange 
  2. Wait for approval and instructions 
  3. Ship the item back or bring it to our Brampton location 

Exchange or Store Credit Options 

  • If a suitable replacement is available, we’ll send it once your return is approved 
  • If no replacement is available or desired, we will issue store credit in the original amount (excluding shipping) 
  • Store credit does not expire and can be used for future purchases 

Shipping for Exchanges 

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the item, unless: 

  • The item was damaged or defective 
  • The wrong item was shipped 

In-Store Exchanges 

You can bring eligible items to our Brampton location with your original receipt to request an exchange or store credit

Defective or Incorrect Items 

Please notify us within 48 hours of receiving a defective or incorrect product. We’ll arrange an exchange or provide store credit at no cost to you.
